This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Garza County Court Docket is a privately operated reference resource. It cannot retrieve official dockets, move hearing dates, alter or seal cases, provide certified copies, or offer legal advice. Those requests must be directed to the clerk or the court with custody of the record.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Choose the contact based on both the record type and the court. The 106th Judicial District Court's felony, civil, and family files belong to the District Clerk function. County misdemeanors, probate records, county civil matters, and Class C appeals belong to the County Clerk function. Terri Laurence serves as Garza County District and County Clerk, and both functions are presented through the same local office.
- Certified or plain copies: state the court, cause number, document title, approximate year, and whether certification is required
- A docket sheet: try the official statewide electronic search where coverage exists, then ask the responsible clerk for the court's record
- A court date: confirm the case-level setting directly with the clerk or lower court rather than relying only on the county's general calendar
- A known case: use its cause or citation number and identify the court before requesting the file
- JP or municipal records: contact JP Precinct 1, JP Precinct 2, or Post Municipal Court when that lower court issued the citation or heard the case
